The Fish Collection werd in 2009 opgericht in Helsinki, Finland, door aquarist en marinebioloog Teemu Suoninen. Wat begon als een gespecialiseerde importoperatie voor Noord-Europese verzamelaars, is uitgegroeid tot een van 's werelds meest vertrouwde bronnen voor zeldzame en exotische aquariumvissen.
